Plot

Gellert Grindelwald has broken free from captivity, amassing a following intent on establishing wizard supremacy over non-magical beings. The only wizard capable of confronting him is Albus Dumbledore, his former close friend. To combat the rising threat, Dumbledore recruits Newt Scamander, his former student who had previously thwarted Grindelwald. Unbeknownst to Newt, a perilous journey awaits him. As allegiances shift, the bonds of love and loyalty will be severely tested in a wizarding world that is becoming ever more fractured.
