Plot

In the 1999 film "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow," Ichabod Crane, a wandering Yankee, takes on the role of the schoolmaster in the eerie village of Sleepy Hollow. He quickly becomes infatuated with Katrina Van Tassel, dreaming of marrying her and claiming her wealthy father's estate. However, Brom Bones, the local blacksmith and Katrina's rival suitor, attempts to frighten Ichabod away by impersonating the infamous Headless Horseman. During this haunting prank, the genuine ghost materializes, sending Ichabod fleeing from the village in terror.
