The Night I Swam (2018)

Plot

Amidst the serene, snow-draped mountains of Japan, a dedicated fisherman sets off nightly to sell his catch at the market. His 6-year-old son, disturbed by his father’s early departure, struggles to drift back to sleep. In the hush of their home, the boy creates a drawing, tucking it away in his satchel. The next day, still groggy from lack of rest, he inadvertently veers off the beaten path on his way to school, leading him into the enchanting yet treacherous snowy landscape.
