Plot

Raoul McLish's Miami Beach visit takes an unexpected turn when he encounters his ex-wife, Vicky Benton, and her new husband, Bob, a serious belt manufacturer. Initially, Bob enjoys Raoul's lively company, but his possessiveness soon surfaces. With Bob away to resolve a labor dispute, Vicky and Raoul reconnect, leading to gossip suggested by Winchell’s column. Bob’s jealousy ignites tension, pushing Vicky to her limits. Support arrives in the form of Raoul’s loyal valet, McTavish, and an earnest cigarette girl named Joy, who may help mend the fractured relationships. Can reconciliation be achieved?
