Plot
Returning to Earth, the space shuttle Nautilus encounters a mysterious cloud of alien spores, triggering a horrific transformation in its only astronaut, Steve Thomas, into a ravenous creature. The shuttle's crash landing in a murky Florida swamp sets off a perilous chain reaction, as the mutated pilot poses a lethal threat to anyone who crosses paths with him or the wreckage. The tension escalates as the possibility of contagion looms, endangering the lives of those nearby and sparking a desperate fight for survival.
