Plot

Yacine, the sole veterinarian at a West Bank zoo, navigates life with his young son, Ziad, who shares a unique connection with the zoo's two giraffes. Tragedy strikes when an air raid claims the life of the male giraffe, leaving Rita, the female, in dire need of a new companion. Determined to save her, Yacine embarks on a risky journey to Tel Aviv, where he hopes to find a suitable mate for Rita.
