Plot

Following the unexpected passing of her estranged sister Nikki, whom she hadn’t seen since their time in foster care, Carly is taken aback to discover she is named as the guardian of Nikki's adopted daughter, Mallie. Relocating across the country to fulfill her sister's final wish, Carly soon uncovers that Mallie has inherited a significant fortune. However, not everyone welcomes Carly’s arrival, as there are others who desire custody of the wealthy child and will stop at nothing to eliminate Carly from the equation.
