Plot

Marija, a young Ukrainian immigrant, toils as a hotel cleaner in Dortmund while nurturing aspirations of opening her own hair salon. Each month, she diligently saves money towards her dream. However, when she is abruptly dismissed from her job, her plans are thrown into disarray. Faced with financial strain and the loss of her livelihood, Marija desperately searches for new opportunities. In her pursuit of success, she finds herself willing to sacrifice her physical well-being, personal relationships, and emotional health, raising the stakes in her relentless quest for a better future.
