Merbabies (1938)

Plot

In "Merbabies," Disney brought together former associates Hugh Harman and Rudy Ising to craft a whimsical underwater installment of the Silly Symphonies series. The story unfolds as ocean waves give rise to enchanting merbabies, who make their way to an underwater circus playground nestled on the ocean floor. Here, they frolic with a vibrant array of marine creatures, including seahorses and starfish, engaging in playful antics. Eventually, the delightful merbabies return to the surface from which they emerged, leaving behind a world of aquatic wonder.
