Plot

A young woman in London encounters a seemingly destitute Russian prince living on the streets. Taking pity on him, she invites him to stay with her middle-class family in Fulham. Unbeknownst to them, he possesses a collection of diamonds gifted by the last czar. Encouraged to sell these gems, he begins to amass wealth, which transforms the lives of everyone around him. As his royal status becomes known, the dynamics within the household shift dramatically, leading to unexpected consequences for all involved.
