Plot

The pressures of being the child of a world leader can be overwhelming, as young Luke Davenport, son of U.S. President Davenport, experiences firsthand. Constantly shadowed by security and deprived of a normal childhood, Luke grapples with isolation and frustration, often taking it out on his Secret Service agent. When the agent loses his cool in front of the First Lady, a new bodyguard, Sam Simms, is assigned to him. Sam, a larger-than-life character who climbed the ranks through determination, surprises Luke by responding with understanding rather than anger, leading to an unexpected friendship.
