Hell Below Zero (1954)

Plot

Duncan Craig takes a job on a whaling vessel, driven by the collapse of his business venture and a desire to assist Judie Nordhall in locating her missing father. Whispers suggest he may have fallen victim to Erik Bland, the son of Judie's father's partner and her former lover. As tensions rise, Duncan and Erik end up on competing whaleboats, leading to a tense confrontation on a perilous ice floe. The struggle for survival intertwines with personal vendettas, forcing both men to confront their pasts amidst the icy desolation.
