Plot

Mikio, a dedicated employee, faces a life-altering diagnosis of depression, which he struggles to hide from his wife, Haruko. Married for five years, Haruko, a comic artist whose work isn't thriving, has leaned on Mikio for emotional support. Unaware of his internal battles, she starts to feel guilty for missing the signs of his distress. As the pressures at work mount, Mikio ultimately resigns, leading to a shift in their relationship dynamic. While his mental health begins to recover, both must navigate the evolving landscape of their marriage.
