Plot

Laurel and Hardy star as a two-man Zoot Suit Band caught up in a wartime scheme involving "gasolene pills" during a period of oil shortages. Their antics take a turn when they decide to assist a charming young woman whose family has fallen victim to a swindle, leading them on a quest to recover $10,000. Amidst the chaos of their misguided endeavors, the duo finds themselves inadvertently becoming heroes, showcasing their classic comedic flair while navigating the challenges of wartime America.
