Plot
Leo Bernardi, a renowned Italian director, grapples with the twilight of his illustrious career. Recently finished with his last film, he feels a profound sense of loss. The narrative, drawn from Arthur Schnitzler’s novel about Casanova, mirrors his own struggles. Like Schnitzler's aging Casanova, Leo faces diminished allure and a longing for his Venetian roots. On his journey home, he encounters Marcolina, a young woman who reignites his passion, prompting failed attempts at seduction.
