Plot

Basia and Marek have spent their lives evading capture, navigating the challenges of being immigrants in Sweden with their young daughter, Ula. A visit from a Swedish social worker exposes Ula’s struggles, leading to her removal from her parents and placement into foster care. Faced with the threat of separation, Basia and Marek must confront their fears and fight to reunite their family. As they grapple with cultural differences and their own tumultuous history, the couple must decide whether their love can withstand the pressures of their circumstances and help them reclaim Ula.
