Plot
In 1937 Paris, Winckler, a performer specializing in telepathy, commits murder on stage by killing Gordon, a mobster from Chicago. To cover his tracks, he bribes fellow artist Helene into claiming they spent the night together. However, crafty police officer Callas isn't easily deceived and decides to take matters into his own hands. He enlists a colleague to charm Helene, hoping to uncover the truth behind the murder. Tension mounts as the investigation unfolds, revealing the dangerous intertwining of crime and deception within the vibrant Parisian nightlife.
