Plot

On a cruise to Cuba, Lulu Smith finds herself captivated by Bob Grover. However, their romance abruptly ends when he reveals his marriage. After returning home, Lulu gives birth to their child but conceals the truth from Bob, who is climbing the political ladder. She poses as the baby’s nanny while Bob, unaware of her identity, adopts the girl, keeping it a secret from his wife. Lulu secures a job at a newspaper, where her new editor uncovers scandalous information about Bob and also vies for her affection, creating a tangled web of emotions and dilemmas.
