Plot

In 1978, a daring heist resulted in the theft of $20 million from a bank in Detroit. One robber was apprehended, another was found deceased, while the third vanished without a trace, taking the money with him. Seven years later, the captured robber is released from prison, only to be discovered dead in Miami the following day. This prompts FBI agents Doug Bennet and Steve Forest to step in, going undercover as Miami police officers to unravel the mystery. The elusive third robber, with a substantial fortune and a significant head start, remains at large in the city.
