Plot

On June 14, 1941, at 3 a.m., the Soviet regime forcibly relocates over 40,000 individuals from Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania to Siberia. Among them is Erna, a philosophy student and devoted mother who is torn from her husband. Sent with her daughter to desolate regions, they endure extreme hardship and degradation. Throughout the fifteen years of suffering, Erna clings to an unyielding sense of freedom and an unwavering hope to return to her homeland, navigating the harsh realities of exile with resilience and determination.
