Interceptor Force 2 (2002)

Plot

In a near-future setting, a specialized government unit known as the Interception Team faces off against a menacing alien threat. After an alien scout ship crashes in eastern Russia, Sean Lambert leads his elite soldiers to investigate the incident. They soon confront a formidable seven-foot tall, shape-shifting adversary intent on detonating a Russian nuclear power plant to trigger a nuclear winter. The conflict intensifies when the alien reveals it seeks revenge for the death of its mate at Lambert's hands four years prior. A fierce battle ensues as the team races to thwart the impending alien destruction of Earth.
