Plot
"Song" is structured in four parts and draws inspiration from Siberian and Finno-Ugric myths surrounding Creation. The narrative introduces characters that are part human, with one being half-bird and the other half-bear. The storyteller explores the roots of Hungarian culture, examining the Iranian and Turkish influences that shaped the society. The tale culminates with the story of Stephen, the emperor who introduced Christianity to Hungary and moved the capital westward to forge connections with Europe.
