Plot
Carrie, a young woman grappling with social challenges, seeks to repair her fraught relationship with her mother following her grandfather's death in a nursing home. She becomes intrigued by William, an elderly neighbor played by Bill Oberst Jr. When William’s doctor offers her a part-time job to look after him, she eagerly accepts. As William recounts fantastical stories of his youth, claiming to be cursed with immortality, he suddenly vanishes. In the wake of his disappearance, Carrie finds herself entangled in a murder investigation, forcing her to confront darker truths about her connections and the past.
