Plot

In San Diego, Bill Templer, director of a covert defense agency, orchestrates a chilling deception to instill fear in the public about an impending alien invasion. He leaks a fabricated satellite image of an alien fleet, prompting the President to activate Peacemaker, a nuclear-armed surveillance satellite. As panic ensues, detective Kevin Anjanette uncovers the ruse, putting his life at risk when Templer sends the deadly Ava Zurich to eliminate him. Just as tensions escalate, an actual alien threat emerges, forcing Anjanette to urgently prevent a nuclear strike that could lead to humanity's destruction.
