Plot
Set in 1577, the Archangel convent faces turmoil as the ailing Mother Superior's health declines. Ambitious and cunning, Mother Giulia schemes to ascend to the role of Mother Superior. Meanwhile, she contends with Sister Chiara, whose inner struggles with her sexuality add complexity to her character, and Sister Carmela, whose desires are far from spiritual. As tensions rise and rivalries intensify, the convent becomes a battleground of ambition, desire, and dark secrets, challenging the foundations of faith and morality within its walls.
