The narrative unfolds with Muza's early years under the oppressive Soviet regime. After triumphing in the Liszt-Bartok International Piano Competition in Budapest, she earns invitations to play in Europe’s top concert venues. Unfortunately, the Iron Curtain falls, restricting her ability to travel. In 1989, as the Soviet Union begins to disintegrate, Muza seizes her long-awaited opportunity. Through relentless dedication, she gains global acclaim. However, the film also explores her ongoing struggle with isolation, as she faces new challenges when a pandemic once again limits her ability to perform.
