The Turn of the Screw (1974)

Plot

An English governess accepts a position caring for two charming orphans, Miles and Flora, at a remote estate. Initially enchanted by their innocence, she soon discovers unsettling secrets lurking beneath the surface. As strange occurrences unfold and mysterious apparitions haunt the surroundings, she grapples with the children’s unsettling behavior and the sinister history of the estate. Her quest to protect them becomes a spiraling descent into psychological terror, challenging her perceptions of reality and the true nature of innocence.
