Plot

Recently widowed Ellie King tries to embrace the holiday spirit while visiting her brother Aaron Davis and his kids for Christmas. She forms a bond with local shopkeeper Mrs. Thompson and catches the eye of the charming Deputy Strode. As she settles into family life, Ellie also meets Erik, a young man taken in by Aaron after being abandoned by his father. However, the festive atmosphere takes a dark turn when Aaron disappears during a trip to acquire new land, leaving Ellie to care for his children and search for answers.
