Plot
Young John Anderson is enchanted by jazz legend Billy Cross during an unexpected performance at a remote airstrip in his Western Australian hometown. Fast forward years later, John, now a devoted family man, struggles to make ends meet as a dingo tracker and trumpet player in a local band. Despite his responsibilities, he remains tethered to his dreams of musical greatness. Driven by nostalgia and ambition, John embarks on a journey to Paris, hoping to reunite with the inspiration that once ignited his passion for jazz and reclaim his dreams of playing alongside Billy.
