Plot
Ron Woodroof, a rugged Texan and notorious libertine, faces a life-altering diagnosis in 1986 when he learns he has HIV/AIDS and only thirty days to live. Initially resistant to the reality of his situation, Woodroof's journey transforms him into an unlikely champion for those affected by the disease. Defying the medical establishment, he establishes the Dallas Buyers Club, providing alternative treatments to fellow patients. As he navigates challenges, including his own prejudices, Woodroof finds unexpected allies and discovers a deeper sense of humanity amidst the struggle against stigma and injustice in the fight for survival.
