In 1993 Pennsylvania, Cameron Post faces a life-altering consequence after being discovered in a romantic encounter with another girl. Sent to a conversion therapy center overseen by the rigid Dr. Lydia Marsh and her brother, Reverend Rick, Cameron must navigate their harsh regime aimed at suppressing her same-sex attraction. Amidst the oppressive environment, she forms a close bond with fellow residents Jane and Adam, fostering a sense of belonging and resilience against the pervasive intolerance they face.
