Plot

In the 16th century, Nostradamus foretold a catastrophic end to the world in July 1999, predicting a chaotic, lawless future. Fast forward to spring 2022, young Kappei and other children, once isolated on a Japanese island to master the mystical arts of Mukai Sappuken, are thrust into a “normal” life in Tokyo. Clad in shorts that feel too short and embodying a quirky manga persona, Kappei navigates friendships and his first love, all while grappling with overwhelming emotions. As his eccentric peers stir up trouble, Kappei must adapt quickly to face the challenges ahead.
