The Two-Alarm Fire (1934)

Plot

Popeye and Bluto operate rival fire departments next door to each other. When a massive blaze engulfs Olive's extravagant home, their rivalry takes precedence over saving the structure. Bluto climbs to the roof to save Olive but finds himself trapped by the flames. In a moment of desperation, Popeye powers up with spinach and comes to the rescue. Despite his heroic efforts, the house is beyond saving by the time they escape, leaving a smoldering reminder of their fierce competition.
