Amid the perilous marshlands of the “green border” separating Belarus and Poland, refugees from the Middle East and Africa find themselves ensnared in a geopolitical crisis orchestrated by Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko. Lured by false promises of an easy journey to the European Union, these individuals become unwitting pawns in a larger conflict. As tensions rise, the fates of Julia, a dedicated activist abandoning her privileged life, Jan, a young border guard, and a Syrian family converge, highlighting the human cost of political machinations.
