Plot

In 2008, renowned writer Sir Terry Pratchett received a diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease. Almost three years later, he begins to contemplate how to end his life before the illness overtakes him. His journey leads him to Switzerland, where he encounters the staff and clients of a non-profit organization that offers assisted suicide to those grappling with severe conditions and terminal illnesses. In a serene cottage near Zurich, we bear witness, alongside Sir Terry, to a man's poignant farewell with his wife in his final moments.
