The Operative (2001)

Plot

Ex-CIA agent Alec Carville, fresh from eleven grueling years in a Soviet labor camp, returns to Boston only to find himself ensnared by the Russian mafia. They possess damning evidence against him and demand he steal a priceless painting from a bank. To complicate matters, Carville's uncanny resemblance to the painting's owner, the quirky millionaire Grady, adds an unexpected twist. When the two men cross paths at the bank, the carefully laid plans of the mob unravel, leading to a chaotic confrontation that spirals beyond anyone’s control.
