Nestled outside the city, the monks of Mt St Bernard Abbey, a small brotherhood of 25 men, embark on a groundbreaking venture: establishing the UK’s first Trappist brewery. With over half of the community aged 80 and above, this endeavor reflects their commitment to tradition and craft. As they navigate the challenges of brewing, the monks blend spirituality with entrepreneurship, showcasing the rich heritage of Trappist brewing.
