Plot

Max faces the dilemma of potentially losing his newly married wife or a substantial fortune. Crafting a clever plan, he decides to create grounds for divorce, aiming to secure the money and ultimately win back his wife as Mrs. Linder. Committed to his scheme, he goes to great lengths to gather the evidence she needs for the divorce. However, chaos ensues when he discovers that a foolish lawyer's blunder means neither the money nor his wife will slip away from him after all.
