Plot

In 1914, a cruise ship departs from Naples, tasked with scattering the ashes of the adored opera singer Edmea Tetua near her birthplace, the isle of Erimo. Onboard, a diverse mix of passengers finds joy and unity until they unexpectedly encounter a group of Serbian refugees. Their peaceful journey is shattered when an Austrian flagship approaches, demanding the refugees be taken aboard. The Serbians bravely resist, leading to a chaotic confrontation that culminates in devastation, altering the course of the voyage and the lives of everyone on the ship.
