Plot

Benchley brings chaos to his home life with his endearing yet maddening antics. Just as his wife serves dinner, he casually excuses himself to wash his hands, throwing her plans into disarray. A simple trip to fetch butter turns into a comedic misadventure as he returns with an assortment of items—none of them the requested butter. To top it off, he embarks on an overly elaborate project to install a small shelf, turning a straightforward task into a theatrical event that pushes his wife's patience to the brink.
