Plot

Kirra travels from Australia to spend summer with her grandfather in South Africa, only to find a baby orca trapped in the lagoon by his dilapidated amusement park. She names the orphaned whale Willy and forms a deep bond with him. Determined to reunite Willy with his family, Kirra sets off on an adventurous mission, facing challenges along the way. With her grandfather's support, she learns the importance of courage and friendship as she strives to lead Willy back to his pod in the wild.
