Plot

George Shuttleworth believes he has what it takes to triumph in the Isle of Man TT races, despite skepticism from his Wigan neighbors. During the trials, a malfunction with his self-built bike, 'The Shuttleworth Snap,' propels him to break the lap record, catapulting him to fame in the motorcycling world. However, as the main event nears, George discovers that envious competitors will go to extreme lengths to sabotage his chances.
