Plot

An elderly hibakusha, whose husband perished in the atomic bombing of Nagasaki in 1945, spends a summer nurturing her four grandchildren. Amidst family gatherings and memories, she discovers that her long-lost brother, Suzujiro, resides in Hawaii and wishes to reunite before his time runs out.
