The Wise Little Hen (1934)

Plot

Donald Duck makes his charming debut in the animated short, The Wise Little Hen. When the Little Hen seeks assistance from Peter Pig and Donald to plant corn, both feign illness with "tummy aches" and decline. As the harvest time arrives, the duo continues to shirk their responsibilities, leaving the Hen and her chicks to gather the crops alone. After the hard work is done, she prepares a delicious meal with the corn and invites Donald and Peter to share. However, a surprising twist awaits them as they take a closer look at the feast.
