Plot

Fire chief Amos McCarthy, a staunch opponent of marriage, warns his nephew Harry Howells against tying the knot. Despite his uncle's advice, Harry is head over heels for Ethel, only to discover she’s a manipulative gold-digger. Heartbroken, he seeks solace in his uncle's firehouse, hoping to escape his woes. However, an urgent fire alarm interrupts his brooding and unexpectedly offers Harry a chance to prove himself as a hero amidst the chaos. The night transforms from despair to opportunity, challenging Harry to redefine his identity and priorities.
