Plot
In 1975, Martin, a teenager desperate to escape his oppressive home life with an alcoholic father and weary mother, seizes the chance to work as a waiter at a coastal resort in Sweden with his friend Micke. However, Micke quickly abandons him, leaving Martin to navigate the challenges alone. He finds solace in the company of his attractive co-worker, Jenny. Soon, Martin attracts the attention of Gösta, the resort's volatile manager, who takes him under his wing. As Martin becomes Gösta's right-hand man, he is thrust into a murky world filled with dubious business dealings and moral dilemmas.
