Plot

The Pony Express sets up shop in Virginia City, prompting tensions as Ben disapproves of Joe's desire to join as a rider. His apprehensions grow with the Paiute Indians' opposition to the service crossing their territory. Meanwhile, Curtis Wade, the ambitious assistant manager, yearns for glory as an Indian fighter.
