Plot

Freddy Maemura Hurtado, a Japanese-Bolivian aspiring doctor, travels to Cuba for his medical studies, where he encounters the legendary revolutionary Che Guevara. Inspired by Guevara's ideals and the political turmoil back home, Freddy chooses to fight alongside him during Bolivia's civil unrest, adopting the alias "Ernesto Medico." As he immerses himself in the revolutionary cause, he faces the challenges and moral dilemmas of war, navigating the fine line between his medical aspirations and the brutal realities of armed conflict. Freddy's journey becomes a profound exploration of identity, loyalty, and the fight for change.
