The Dark Hour (2006)

Plot

Eight-year-old Jesús has known nothing but the confines of a decaying underground shelter, where he lives with seven other survivors of a nuclear apocalypse. Among them are the resolute leader Maria and her partner Pablo, the couple Lucas and Mateo, the wise astronomer Magdalena, the teenager Ana, soldier Pedro, and the isolated Judas. Constantly under threat from mutated beings known as The Strangers, they must endure the terrifying Cold Hour when they lock themselves away from the spectral dangers of The Invisibles. As supplies dwindle, the group faces the harrowing decision to venture above ground for survival.
