Plot
Jeannette, a single mother struggling to make ends meet as a supermarket cashier in Marseille, juggles her demanding job and her two children in a cramped apartment complex. Meanwhile, Marius, a security guard at a defunct cement factory, has taken up residence in the soon-to-be-demolished site. When Jeannette attempts to steal paint from the factory, their initial encounter is fraught with tension. However, Marius later brings her the paint as a peace offering, sparking an unexpected friendship. As their romance develops, it becomes clear that Jeannette’s idealistic notions of love clash with Marius's more practical approach.
